I received the soft claws and so far have been extremely
happy with them! I put them on Gizmo my 2 year old
Ragdoll, who is my biggest scratcher on Friday night
as soon as they got here. I was really expecting him
to have a fit, but since he is used to having me clip
his nails anyway, I had them on in less than 10 minutes.
Since then, he has only lost one from a dewclaw. I
may not have had enough glue on it though. Taz, my
3yo Ragdoll is next. He doesn't scratch the furniture
very often, but he did on Saturday like he was asking
me for trouble! LOL It will take a bit longer to get
them on him, I'm sure. You have a great product and
I will be purchasing more I can guarantee you. Now
I can get my furniture recovered and not worry about
them tearing it up again! Thank you so much.

Let me just say that I am the last person who would
have ever considered putting caps on my cat's nails!
I've converted. Soft Paws are a miracle! We were seriously
going to give away our cat because we couldn't deal
with the destruction anymore and nothing else helped.
Then our vet told us about Soft Paws. They are very
easy to put on. (We found it easiest to have my husband
hold her down while I put the caps on. I also determined
they stayed on better if you put a little more glue
in the caps than the instructions say.)
Our cat didn't mind them at all, even at first. Now,
5 weeks after the first application, only one has
been shed. And our expensive leather chair is safe
(not to mention my nerves)! Thank you!!!!

My cat has had his soft paws for one week now. I
am very pleased with the look and the feel of the
caps. When I got him I thought I would have to get
him declawed to protect our belongings, after all,
my friends cat has torn her home to shreds! But a
co-worker told me about this site, and that he has
been using the caps on his cat for quite a while.
Although over his lifetime it will cost more to keep
caps on those paws, I am much more happy that he will
not have surgery, and I am sure he is too! That happiness

going and having the claws removed.

Hi. Just wanted to let you know I was successful in
getting 8 soft paws on... did all but the inside of
the paw. She hated them going on.. but I did 1 or
2 at a time and then gave her a pounce treat. She
does not seem to mind having them on .. she uses her
scratching posts and all seems normal. Thank you again
for your advice.. I hope the all don't fall off at
once as I could be in trouble if I have to start from
scratch.

I have used soft paws for the first time on my cat
Tuni and they are MARVELOUS...it didn't even take
her much time to get used to them! I never liked the
idea of declaw but I just got some new furniture and
was pondering it. My cat is now 8 yrs old and I felt
it would be too risky and traumatic for her at her
age, so the soft paws are a blessing.

ago. I am still amazed at how well they work for us!
My cat doesn't even notice that she has them on and
I only have to replace one on average, once a week.
It is well worth the cost to me and I'm sure my cat
is much happier than if I were to declaw her. I just
wish I had tried them sooner because my last couch
(which was very expensive) was completely destroyed

I am writing to you today to tell you what a great
product Soft Paws are. They were easy to apply, and
"Bob" doesn't even realize he's wearing
them. Bob was hit by a car seven months ago and had
extensive damage to the right side of his face when
we adopted him. He lost the vision in his right eye
and his nasal passage was crushed on the right side
also. Since then he has persisted to scratch the right
side of his face with his right rear claws until bloody,
so he's been wearing a cone for most of the last seven
months. His vet tells me he's fine, but I'm not so
sure. Anyway, Bob's cone came off today for the last
time, he thanks you and I Thank You.

- she was always testing her claws on my furniture,

I am given and found your representatives to be above

I made the mistake of having a cat declawed (all 4
paws). His personality changed a lot. He acted like
he was in retractable pain. I felt soooo bad, but
it was too late. I have a Maine Coon and a mixed breed
also. I just ordered soft paws for both of them. I
didn't have my show cat declawed because he is "special".
But I realized that all of my pets are special. My
children are grown and my grandchildren are around
frequently and we stress the importance of treating
animals like people. If they wouldn't want something
done to them we teach them not to do it to the animals
either. It has changed my philosophy toward a lot
of things. I didn't realize how much I have changed,
for the better, until I promote safety and humane
treatment for all living creatures. I am proud of
you and the work you do to help the animals. I wish
I had a Noah's ark so I could have two of every living
creature on the earth, but my husband likes to eat,
therefore currently we have only 2 snakes and 2 cats.

I just wanted to write to you to tell you what a
wonderful product Soft Paws is. I live in a rented
apartment and my cat is destroying them. I was worried
about my landlord making us pay for them. I didn't
want to declaw Mickey, but I was running out of alternatives.
I did an internet search about declawing and saw Soft
Paws referenced many times. I ordered them and put
them on right away. He was not distressed at all while
I applied them and he hasn't licked at them yet. So
far so good. Now when he scratches at the rug nothing

A vet receptionist told me that Soft Paws "don't
work very well, because you have to keep re-applying
them all the time," and hence, they do not carry
them.
Well, for my purposes, they work great. My cat has
diabetes, which causes any wounds he gets to take
longer to heal. Sometimes, he wrestles with my other
cats and ends up with a small scratch on the back
of his neck. He scratches it with his back claws,
causing it to spread and preventing it from healing.
A "lampshade" collar rides too high to protect
the wound. Before I was able to find Soft Paws, the
best I could do was apply a band-aid, then a collar
made from an old sock. At wits end, I had to consider
rear declaw, which would have been very risky considering
the diabetes. If such a situation has not come to
your attention in the past, I think it may be valuable
in your marketing efforts. Feel free to use this information
as you will. Thank you!

I was adopted by two adult cats, Duke and Molly,
a couple years ago.
Scratching became a big problem. As a responsible
pet owner, getting rid of them was out of the question.
However, allowing them to damage my property needed
to come to an abrupt halt. My veterinarian had three
options: tendonectomy, declawing or Soft Paws. Because
of their age, and ONLY because of their age, I didn't
feel right about the first two options. I decided
to try Soft Paws. I applied Soft Paws to the front
claws on both of my cats. After seeing the results,
I applied them to their back claws as well. This product
works very well. This is saving my clothes and furniture.
My recommendations for 1st time users..........the
first application is the worst, but after that you're
only replacing one every once in a while.....so tough
out the first application. A second set of hands wouldn't
hurt either. When I have to replace one, I kind of
incorporate it into affection or playing. If they
resist, I back off for a bit. After applying just
a few, you'll be a pro. I'm so glad this product was
developed. It's reduced the stress of a pet owner

My name is Jessica Onstine. My 11-month old kitty's
name is Kyra. She was bound and determined to scratch
her way under the door to the spare room in our apartment.
My husband and I are very morally against declawing
and would never put our little one through that, but
my husband was very adamant that we had to find a
solution or get rid of Kyra.
I tried the sprays that are supposed to deter the
cat, but they actually drew her to that spot more
than before. I tried putting tape on the carpet in
that spot, but that didn't work either. I was running
out of solutions fast, and my husband was losing patience.
Then one day, as I was looking for suggestions on
the internet, I came across your website. I was very
skeptical, but also desperate. I called the 800-number
to ask a few questions and was pleasantly surprised
at how helpful your customer service was. I decided
to give it a chance, for Kyra.
I sent a check for one pack of purple caps. (I ordered
purple so I could see the ones she chewed off on our
white carpet while she adjusted.) They arrived just
days later, to my relief. I attempted to put them
on Kyra myself, but she is very athletic and strong,
and does not like to be restrained. So I enlisted
the help of my husband when he got home. He held her
and applied the caps. It was very easy once I could
work with both hands.
Kyra wasn't sure about them at first. She licked and
tugged, as I was advised she would, but in just three
days she adjusted and no longer notices them or tries
to take them off. When we play she can't scratch me,
and when Victor and I sleep, she can't tear up the
carpet! It's wonderful. We're so glad there is a humane

Day 2, and they are still on! I did spy Ernie trying
to scratch the carpet one time, but he didn't attack
it with the usual gusto. I am very pleased. I work
with lots of pet enthusiasts, and I am keeping them

I found you on the internet. I gave our vet a call
just to see if he Had them available not expecting
they had ever hear of them. To my pleasant surprise,
not only did he have Soft Paws but they glue them
on. My cat now has Soft Paws!!!! Thanks for offering
this product to us animal lovers. Millie doesn't seem
to be bothered at all by the Soft Paws. I had expected
a period of adjustment but none has been needed. I
just wanted to say these are awesome! Now, I'm not
afraid to buy the leather couch I wanted. They stay

Soft Paws are so great, we put them on our kitten
and he didn't mind a bit. He loses a couple a week,
but it's still worth it. We have a house bunny and
were concerned about kitten's claws in bunny's eyes
so Soft Paws really solved a major problem for us.
Plus, our oriental rugs, furniture and not to mention
our skin are also all safe from our sweet kitten's
needle like claws. The greatest bonus is that we have
so much fun playing with him since we don't have to
worry about getting scratched. He gets even more attention
so he's a very happy kitty! Lately he's learning to
bite however. How about some caps for his sharp little
teeth? (only kidding!)
We're placing another order this week to make sure
we can keep up with our little one's "manicures".

All three cats have them on and all three are doing
just fine. I am just amazed out of three cats we didn't
have a least a little problem with one. All three
adapted immediately.
I have never liked declawing cats, but its' always
been the only solution offered to pet owners in the
past. With soft paws there is an option maybe people
will try before declawing. I certainly will spread
the word. I am so happy my daughter told me about
soft paws, as Baxter ( my late in life cat) was starting
to cause some minor damage in certain spots around

What's up Doc?, I just wanted to take this opportunity
to thank you. Soft Paws works surprising well!!! I
have a roommate who is an advocate of declawing our
cat, but it's no longer a worry. Soft Paws saved her
claws.

What a wonderful product!!!!! My 3 year old cats have
already destructed 3 different couches and also the
carpet outside my bedroom in our 8 month old home.
I was so frustrated. I heard about your product from
my neighbor who heard about it from a friend and so
on, and now my Cleo and Sophie are trotting around
in their Soft paws in fact they went in yesterday
for their 3rd application. I take them into the vet
for those of you who don't want to deal with putting
them on yourself. It is wonderful... 20 minute visit
to the vet (for 2 cats). Also I have a six month old
baby that is learning to pull cat hair and it is so
nice to know that he is not going to have a cat swipe

I just had to write to let you know what a great
product this is. I have two cats who have destroyed
just about every piece of furniture we own. We recently
ordered new furniture, and I was in a panic over how
to protect it. We've tried just about every method
you could think of to stop them from scratching the
furniture with very limited success. While doing some
research on alternatives to declawing, I came across
Soft Paws. I ordered them but honestly was very skeptical
as to whether they would work. They arrived so quickly,
within two days of placing the order.
I put them on immediately which wasn't hard at all.
Both our cats are used to us trimming their nails
so nobody gave us any trouble with the application
process. Mr. Whiskers was so bored with the whole
process that he even fell asleep while we were applying
his nails!!
They have left them on and really pay very little
attention to their feet. They still stretch and "scratch"
the furniture like they always did, but now there
is no damage done!! Its the perfect solution. We check
them daily to be sure nobody has lost any. I would
recommend the colored nails because its so easy to
pick the cat up and quickly inspect all ten toes within
seconds. They're also easy to spot laying on the carpet,
etc., if one does come loose. Different colors for
each cat also lets me know immediately who I need
to find for a fast inspection! Over the past three
weeks, I have replaced only a few nails here and there.
I will NEVER, EVER be without Soft Paws again! Thanks
