  1. VERY EFFECTIVE

Posted by Andy on 9th Feb 2017

We ordered the extra large size for our dog (weighs apx. 45 lbs) and they fit perfectly. The Soft Paws were easy to apply and our dog has tolerated them very well. There has only been one which has come off so far, which surprised us b/c we have an active dog who loves to run.

  2. don't stay on

Posted by Unknown on 17th Nov 2016

Great concept. Needs stronger adhesive to stay on. I got multiple sizes to make sure they fit but that didn't help they still come off.

  3. wasn't for my dog

Posted by Unknown on 12th Oct 2016

I had these put on Monday and had to have them taken off Thursday. They weren't for my dog. I think they may be better for inside cats, I guess.

  4. Great Product

We use these on my mother's dog so she does not get scratched. Mom is 88 and the dog must sit next to her, so this was the wonderful solution we found. Thank you Soft Paws!

  5. Smaller & Thinner

Posted by Loo on 24th Aug 2016

I've been using this product for 4 years now. I keep coming back to this brand. Recently, I bought a new package of extra large clear caps and when I put them on my dogs nails, I noticed the caps were smaller and half as thin as the extra large clear ones I had. I have one left of the earlier version so I can compare them side to side very easily. Common sense will tell me that these new caps will not last as long and that troubles me. Though, I will report that they are more flexible because the caps are thinner. My dog is arthritic and drags her right paw when she walks. Two of her nails get worn down and I've been using these caps to keep that from happening. Exposed quik would be very painful for her. Putting them on has been increasingly challenging as she's an old dog and she's making it much more difficult for me to glue them on. It's a pain! So, if I have to do it more often...this is not making either one of us happy. Why did you change it? Not sure if I'll be buying again. We'll see....

  6. frustrating

Posted by chad on 1st Jun 2016

The paws are great! Now if I can get them to stick/ stay for more than 3 days. I've gone through the first starter kit with then eventuall falling off or pulled of by my dog. I've cleaned the nails several times. Just frustrating! Not sure if I had bad adhesive or what? If this is how they work I might as well buy on eBay for 1/4 of the price.

  7. not bad, but wish there was subtle improvements

Posted by Angela on 19th Oct 2015

I needed this product for my dog who viciously runs at the doorbell, thus scratching my brand new hardwood flooring. I found that if your dog's cuticle is long, the nail can't be cut back short enough without bleeding. So when you put these "sleeves" on, they push his knuckles up. I will have to remove them and train the nails back to a shorter length. I also didn't need to use the glue, as the nail caps were a perfect fit. One more thing, they are a little slippery, I thought my dog would have a little more traction, and he's still skidding on the floor . At least he's not gouging the floor.

  8. Works great when they stay on the nails

Posted by Kyle on 14th Jul 2015

Works great on my hardwood floors I just put down. Only downside is sometimes they come off too easily and I have to keep putting back on. Has helped eliminate claw marks on my hardwood floors.

  9. Protects elderly skin!

Posted by Carole Wilson on 14th Apr 2015

We use Soft Paws on my 88 year old mother's dog Jorja. Jorja is a lap dog and my mother would get scrapes & cuts from Jorja's nails, so this is an excellent solution! The glitter tips are harder to glue on as they seem a little oily - usually takes putting them on twice. Other than that, we fully enjoy the colors and have fun with them!

  10. they actually work!

Posted by Sid on 10th Apr 2015

My puppy was regularly scratching my new leather sofa. Soft paws is a great method to help prevent this! The only reason that I have not given 5 starts is that the adhesive used is hard to handle. It bonds to your skin immediately. Imagine working with something like that with your 40 pound dog trying everything to get away and not having these things stuck to his paws!
