Product Description

Solve Your Cat Scratching Problems Using Original, Authentic, Soft Paws—Made in the U.S.A.

Developed by a veterinarian, Soft Paws® nail caps are made in the USA using non-toxic vinyl. The nail caps are applied to your cat's claws using a non-toxic, cold-bonding, veterinary-grade adhesive, and are a completely safe and humane solution to cat scratching problems. Soft Paws do not interfere with the normal extension and retraction of claws, and most cats don't even know they are wearing them.

Economical Price
Only $19.95 per package for a 4 to 6 month supply.

Each Soft Paws® kit contains 40 nail caps, 2 tubes of adhesive, applicator tips, and easy-to-follow instructions. One kit contains enough for 4 front paw applications and each application lasts approximately 4 to 6 weeks, which makes each kit lasts approximately 4 to 6 months.

Kitten Size: (Less than 6 months old)

Soft Paws will fit most kittens by the time they reach the age of 16 weeks (4 months). Some kittens can wear them as early as age 12 weeks (3 months) . To test, try a nail cap on first without the adhesive. If it looks too big, don't glue it on. The nail cap should fit snugly, like a glove, but not cover the cuticle.

To accommodate smaller kittens, you can trim the base of the nail cap, making it smaller so it will fit your kitten's nail.

The kitten size generally fits kittens up to about 5 pounds and about 5 months of age.

    easy to apply.

  2. so far very good

So far we are very pleased with the kitten soft paws. Our kitty is basically in a coma when he sleeps so it was super easy to put them on. Once he woke up he was a little freaked out by them and kept trying to bite them off but that only lasted a couple hours. After that, it was just a matter of him having a few falls from not having the grip anymore. Now he doesn’t even notice them. My furniture and our precious skin are very thankful. Very happy customers!

  3. Awesome product!!

You are able to play with your kitten in fun way without the worry of getting scratched. My 2 kids are a lot more active with playing with him now. Easy to put on! Highly recommended!!

First time we put them on our kitten went wild trying to bite us so I can't imagine putting on him when he is adult...yikes. We got them on and they staying on pretty good...we like them and he doesn't seem to mind them.

  5. 3 star

The soft paws arrived on time, they are fairly easy to install, however they don't last longer than 5 days. My kittens scratch a lot and try to bight their soft paws off, even with the soft paws they are still leaving scratches on the couch
The size fit perfectly, just thought they would last at least 2 weeks.

    MESSAGE FROM SOFT PAWS:
Thank you for your comments. Hopefully we can help.

Kittens are very active, in fact down right rambunctious. Plus they have very little claws. This means that there is very little area for the glue to adhere to the nail and then, when the nail caps are in place, they are really put to the stress test.

What we recommend first of all is not trimming the nails before application, or if necessary, trimming only the very tip of the nail so the nail cap can fit all the way to the base of the nail. This allows more surface area for the glue to adhere the nail cap to the nail.

Squeeze one or two drops into the cap and press the sides to disperse the glue.

Also, how old is your kitten? Do the nail caps fit well in your opinion? What size are you using?

I think we can probably get this situation solved and you will be very happy with the product.

Please feel free to contact us so we can help. And again, thank you for your comments.

  6. Pink Toes

Posted by Robin on 30th Aug 2017

I ordered the softpaws as an alternative to declawing our new kitten. I was excited to try them! So far all but 3 have stuck. I am having trouble with keeping those 3 on her, can't figure it out. She WILL NOT use her scratch pads which we have ALL over our house. Our other cat is declawed, and she uses the scratchers!! So I am hoping that as she gets a little older they will stay better. The other claws have stayed caped very well.

  7. So cute and saving my couch!

Love it... my kitten is 3 months and I didn't think it would fit her because I trimmed her nails before I saw that you shouldn't trim them and she has tiny paws... but it does fit! annoyingly I had to go to the vet to get them out in because she was moving too much and once they were on she kept trying to bite them off. It's been 3 days now and she seems used to them. I got light pink and it looks adorable on my little princess!

  8. Just okay

They work really well for what they are supposed to do. We had our Vet put them on our kittens. Unfortunately they started falling off within the first 24 hours.

  9. the best!

This is the best. They work really good, I have thin skin so this saved me from my kitten's claws. THANKS

  10. Kitten sized soft paws may not fit

Posted by Unknown on 23rd Aug 2017

I have a kitten that is 4 months, and though it may be because he has bigger claws for his age, it only fit less that halfway down his nail. Not only that, but unfortunately they came off less than 24 hours later, regardless of amount of adhesive, nails trimmed, or monitoring of chewing (Ive gone through the whole pack with trials). I'm giving it the benefit of the doubt, and trying the small size from now on, so be careful of sizing.
