  1. does not work

Posted by D Groth on 25th Nov 2016

Put them on and she got most of them off. Re put them on and she got them off again. She tore up her nail tearing off the caps.

  2. effective, but they don't last long

Posted by jennifer tobias on 24th Nov 2016

I get about 2 weeks of wear of each cap. They are effective but the glue doesn't seem to hold well.

  3. Love love love them

Posted by AKlare T on 23rd Nov 2016

I've got a new kitten who loves his morning snuggle time that involves kneading my face, neck & arms while he tries to fit his head under my chin. He was clawing me bloody. I'm against declawing so had to find another way. These were easy to use-even for a first timer. He never even acknowledged they were on after getting them on. He has lost on average one a day to two days, but I can't guarantee how much glue I for sure got on them. Now every morning he can cuddle & knead till his heart is content. Even only having these for about a week & a half- I'm a customer for life!!!!

  4. Good Product - minor flaw

Posted by Don Seddio on 23rd Nov 2016

While the concept is good, Soft Paws come off the cat's nails too easily! There should be design alternatives to prevent that.

  5. love this product

My cat Henry has horrible allergies and scratches himself all the time and Soft Paws have been a life saver. I'm finally getting Henry's allergies under control but this product has been amazing at saving Henry from scratching himself to death.
    Thank you Soft Paws

  6. Long lasting and easy to use.

My elderly cat has a tendency of over scratching her face and this would often lead to unsightly and uncomfortable sores. Soft paws has made this problem completely disappear. Another plus is the Nail colors are vibrant and look really cute!

  8. Lasted 1 week

Posted by Unknown on 11th Nov 2016

The nails fell off within a week. Not easy to put on either.

    Response from Soft Paws:
Please contact us so we can help provide some tips to ensure the nail caps stay on.

Some cat will groom the nail caps excessively at first resulting in them coming off sooner. Most cats will adjust to them in a couple of weeks.

Here are a couple of hints to help keep the nail caps on your cat.
First, when trimming the nails, trim just the tip of the nail. Trim just enough to allow the cap to fit all the way to the base of then nail. This provides more surface area for the glue to adhere the cap to the nail.

Also, use just a couple of drops of glue. Using too much glue will weaken the adhesive seal. Usually it is best just to put about two to three drops of glue in the tip and squeeze the sides so the glue is dispersed throughout the cap. Then slide it on the nail.

If your cat removes any of the caps, try to replace them as soon as possible. That way your cat is not "rewarded" for removing the caps.

Also, there are bitter deterrents you can use on cats to keep them from chewing if you think your cat is chewing on them excessively. We can advise what will work best, although most of the time, these are not required. It is probably just a matter of your cat getting used to the caps.

Again- please feel free to email or call us and request a consult with Dr Schelling so she can help you with this matter.

  9. What All Best Dressed Cats Are Wearing Today

Posted by Jim D. on 10th Nov 2016

Three Reasons to Us Soft Paws on your Cat
    1) Helps protect your furniture and offers a more humane solution than declawing.
    2) Looks cool. Our black cat is sporting orange Halloween/Thanksgiving colored nails. Come April or May, Spurs fan cat will be wearing silver and black or just silver
    3) We lost her once and through the microchip company, made fliers with pictures we delivered to vet clinics and area Starbucks. The nails are distinctive. We got her back.
