Developed by a veterinarian, Soft Paws® nail caps are made in the USA using non-toxic vinyl. My cat has had soft paws for years.. I ordered medium and was sent small which are no use to me. They were expensive and just a waste of my money.

My cat scratches the carpet. He still scratches the carpet. And is still able to completely ruin the carpet. These did not stop him at all and he is just as efficient. Really bummed :(

Love, love, love these. The medium was the perfect fit for my boy. I had very high suspicions that he would try chew them off, but I don't know that he has even noticed them. He has become a lot more loving and affectionate now that I am not constantly trying to trim his nails. I could only cut one nail a day, and with his vigorous sharpening routine there was always some super sharp beauties in need of trimming. He still continued to try sharpen his claws as regularly as he usually would for a couple days after the application of 'soft paws' but now this is a rare occurrence and it has only been 5 days.

These nail caps saved my relationship with my cat! She was so destructive beforehand, and now she can try and scratch all she wants, without destroying anything! I love these and I can't believe I used to not use them.

stronger glue?

They're easy to put on and they look great but my cat gets them off way to quickly. Within a few days he had bitten off about half of them which I can't imagine feeling too great because of the glue.

My cat has never been bad about scratching furniture, but when my husband and I decided to buy a leather sofa, we were nervous about scratches. Soft Paws has relieved our concerns about it altogether. They are easy to apply, and the cat doesn't seem to mind them at all!
Note: Lily is twelve years old and has never been a fan of having her nails trimmed (or touched for that matter), so her tolerating the Soft Paws application AND not trying to pull them off was a wonderful surprise! -

It works great, cat managed to remove a couple of pieces and we had to replace them. Otherwise it is simple and easy to place and stops the cat from ruining the carpet. Love that it does not affect my babies everyday life and now picking him up is way easier :)

I love the soft paws! They work and look so cute on the cats. I have two cats. One of them is about a year old going on two and the other one is a little less then a year old. I bought the medium sized nail caps to put on both of them. I do not know if it is the color or my two year old cat has big claws but they do not seem to fit him right. They fit over his nail but just barely. He pulls them easily due to them not fitting right. I am going to buy a bigger size for him but keep having the younger one with the medium size.

My cats do not mind these at all and they protect the house nicely. I have used softpaws for four months now and will continue to. I just wish there was a rewards program that sends you some free after you buy so many.
