Developed by a veterinarian, Soft Paws® nail caps are made in the USA using non-toxic vinyl. The nail caps are applied to your cat's claws using a non-toxic, cold-bonding, veterinary-grade adhesive, and are a completely safe and humane solution to cat scratching problems. Soft Paws do not interfere with the normal extension and retraction of claws, and most cats don't even know they are wearing them.

Disappointed this time

I have used nail caps on my cat for awhile now, and usually I'm very pleased with the product, but this last time I ordered them I was disappointed. The package had clearly been opened before and someone cut down some of the nail caps, and it got resealed and sent to me. Some of them can't be used. May start looking for an alternative in a pet store that I can look at before I buy it.

I have been using Soft Paws for the past 2 years now, ever since my cat was a kitten. They are easy to use and really stay on until she sheds the nails. It has saved our furniture from destruction and keeps her from being declawed.

I've been ordering Soft Paws for my daughter for her ragdoll cat. They work great, and have saved her furniture and clothes. The only complaint she has is that they don't stay on as long as the info says they should, but other than that she's very happy with them.

These are a great alternative to any other product out there that claims to keep cats from scratching furniture or walls. My cats do not mind them and now there are no scratch marks on the walls. Yay!

Good alternative to Declaw

I have used Softpaws for years with 2 cats. I would give 5 stars, but the cats don't like this product, and 1 of my cats pulls them off frequently. It definitely solves the scratching problem, and it doesn't hurt the cat even though they would rather scratch freely. You can play with your cat without getting scratched! Cat scratches are no fun, they discourage play, and they can cause dangerous infections. I don't think I would let a cat outdoors with these on, but my cats have been effective mousers while wearing Softpaws.

We have a 6-year old female cat with extremely sharp front claws! Her nails are like needles if they happen to dig into you! We were reluctant to have her nails surgically removed, and heard about this product. We decided to give it a try, and it has worked beautifully! The nails are easy to apply, and our cat really doesn't mind them. We give her a treat directly after applying, to keep her distracted long enough for the glue to dry - which is very fast - and the nails stay on for several weeks, usually. She acts like there is nothing different about her paws, i.e. she is able to still stretch and scratch herself and other items, only without the damage. We are very impressed with the product, and would highly recommend it.

I love the soft paws, they are really easy to apply once I got my cat comfortable with me messing with his paws. He doesn't even know they are on, but they are a furniture, rug, and hand saver.

Relatively easy to put on, although definitely needed two of us. Once on Bella was fine with them., still scratches at the door but now no more damage!

I love soft paws.we had an accident with out 8 week old son, my cat accidently snagged the baby. He even had to get a stitch. These are easy to put on and give us peace of mind that it won't happen again. My cat doesn't mind them much and we're all happy again. Thank you soft paws for being the solution to our problem
