461. They stick, they rock

     My wife's and my cat is used to being messed with, as she grew up with playful dogs around her, so it was pretty simple to put the falsies on her nails. With the exception of a couple that have fallen off (and been reapplied), the SoftPaws are staying on and doing what they promise. My wife's antique furniture is very grateful. And the cat is grateful to not be declawed, I'm sure.

     The best alternative to declawing! I refuse to declaw and these nail caps are an excellent alternative that works. I can explain to my clients that declawing is not a solution to cat scratching problems, but Soft Paws is! Highly recommend.

464. Depends on how active is the cat

     The nail cap is easy to put it on if your cat can get calm. My cat is active and likes to play with string and always it gets stuck between real nails and nail caps or she tries to take them off biting them. I will try other options to protect my furnitures. The soft paws are very easy to take them off.

465. Don't de-claw; use Soft Paws!

     My husband and I purchased Soft Paws for our newly adopted cat, Nigel, who chooses to occasionally run his claws through our furniture.
     
     And now he has nicer nails than I do.
     
     As soon as they arrived I wrestled them on to the claws of the (very tolerant) cat as per the directions. It was fairly simple, the directions explained everything very well.
     Only a few caps have fallen off so far, the majority have stayed on for a week and counting! Pretty good for the first time applied. I did notice that two or three of his nails were too wide for the caps, so I squished them out to fit better. (These are probably the ones that fell off.)
     
     Overall great product, wonderful selection of colors and easy to follow directions. And they look great!

466. Soft Paws Review

     This is my second purchase of Soft Paws. I went from kitten size to Medium in 3 months. I have a 6 month old British Shorthair. He is a strong stocky built at 8.5lbs. Not overweight just big. He does not scratch the furniture but when he pounces on and off the couches he does unintentionally.
     
     The soft paws are FANTASTIC when they fit. The medium does not fit on all his hind claws. The length is fine. It's the width. They are not wide enough. It would be great to see improvement in this area real soon. I noticed this same complaint from previous reviews before I bought them.
     
     Still a great alternative!! They look good too. My kitten doesn't even remember there on.

467. Godd idea

     Took my 2 cats to the vet to have the soft paws put on and for me it was a simple process however the cats took a little time to adjust to them. My female cat has pulled 2 of the soft paws off and my male cat has pulled off one but overall I am satisfied with the product that I received. It has served its purpose very well as I was introducing 2 new cats to the family and they were declawed. My female cat can be aggressive towards others so this was the best option. Thank you
