    First cat I ever owned that "hissed". Also the first we did not have declawed so tried Soft Paws. It was WAR from the beginning. After a couple of years now she allows me to apply them but I almost always get the "hiss". A bit tricky getting the glue in the cap (I squeeze the cap open and let one drop of glue fall in while holding the glue tube above the cap). The solid colors are easier to flex than the glitter colored caps. Love the caps. Still trying to warm up to the cat.

    My cat has used these soft paws for years. He is used to them because since he was a kitten I have used them. My furniture has been saved.

    Love the color purple. . I had trouble holding her
    & putting glue in the nail, got the glue all over my hands. I am getting better.. I put a purple collar
    in her, she looks so cute.R

    My cat doesn't really mind these. He managed to chew all the caps off of his back feet, but I think I might not have used enough glue. All of his front nails are still capped. No more destruction makes for a happy cat momma <3

    My cat is a scratcher and declawing was not an option. He does great with softpaws. Love them!!

    I have always had wonderful and loving cats that lived to be 19. I decided to do my best this time to avoid declawing. My calico kittens have been having their Soft Paws manicures since they were 6 months old, and they are now 13 months old. They are finally used to them and don't fight (much) when the vet tech puts them on while I hold them I've experimented with clear and colors (I like the pink and yellows best...really show up on my kitties and on my floors and rugs when they come off) I was going to rate 4 stars because the sizing is way off for my cats. Remember that the weight and age guidelines are only that...guidelines. My vet had me getting medium when my cats were only 6 months old and 5 pounds, and large when they were only 8.5 pounds and 9 months old. She said my kittens had very large claws and were probably going to be very large cats. So, while sizing didn't fit packaging instructions, the company was wonderful about no-cost size exchanges, so back to 5 stars! I only hope that I will be able to put the caps on myself eventually, as they mature. I faithfully trim nails and recap every 4 weeks. (They start coming off just after 3 weeks) The cost for both cats is one less dinner out! I have leather furniture that was covered with lots of blankets and other covers until we started the Soft Paws. Now, the girls no longer sink claws successfully into my legs, hands, face or furniture! Thank You, Soft Paws!!!
