Developed by a veterinarian, Soft Paws® nail caps are made in the USA using non-toxic vinyl. The nail caps are applied to your cat's claws using a non-toxic, cold-bonding, veterinary-grade adhesive, and are a completely safe and humane solution to cat scratching problems. Soft Paws do not interfere with the normal extension and retraction of claws, and most cats don't even know they are wearing them.

Each Soft Paws® kit contains 40 nail caps, 2 tubes of adhesive, applicator tips, and easy-to-follow instructions. One kit contains enough for 4 front paw applications and each application lasts approximately 4 to 6 weeks, which makes each kit lasts approximately 4 to 6 months.
Large Size: (Approximately 14 pounds and up)
Very large-boned and large-breed cats wear large. Maine Coons, for example, are very large cats and generally wear large.
Note: "Large" refers to how big-boned your breed of cat is, not how obese your cat may be. Fat cats have the same size claws as slim cats.

I have been using Soft-Paws for our cat, Renoir, for the last 4 years and I am thoroughly pleased at how they help protect our furniture and our hands. Renoir is a playful Main Coon mix and her talons (claws) can be as sharp at a razor blade. Most of the time she will use her scratching post but every now and then she likes scratching at our area rugs. Soft-Paws keep our rugs from being mangled, literally. Plus she looks so cute in the Pink and Black combination. She is Black and White with a "Milk Mustache", so the Pink really is set off. It is hard to see the Soft-Paws because of all her toe hair but they are cute.

Soft paws are a great alternative to having to clip your cat's nails or even to go to the extreme of having them declawed.

Ordered these in size large for my cat. We had just purchased a fabric headboard that we didn't want him using as a scratch post. These have saved the headboard, as well as our other furniture. The glue works great. We haven't lost one cap as of yet...he's had them on for 2 weeks so far. He isn't thrilled putting them on - but within a few minutes he forgets they are there.

We've been ordering and using SoftPaws for over 5 years on several cats.
Generally we're very happy with the product, but in any package of the medium sized covers there will be some quantity that are much much smaller and not usable, upwards of 5% in some previous purchases. -

This product is inexpensive and safe to use. It was so easy to put on my cats nails and it took very little time for him to get used to. Now he doesn't damage my doorways now. I will continue to buy this product it is well worth it.

Perfect Solution for our scratching problem

We've used the soft paws product for our 6 year old cat Lucy for 3 years. We continue to reorder because they have virtually stopped any furniture scratching damage that Lucy used to cause (would add that she's an indoor cat). We'll continue to use the soft paws as long as we have Lucy.
