Developed by a veterinarian, Soft Paws® nail caps are made in the USA using non-toxic vinyl. The nail caps are applied to your cat's claws using a non-toxic, cold-bonding, veterinary-grade adhesive, and are a completely safe and humane solution to cat scratching problems. Soft Paws do not interfere with the normal extension and retraction of claws, and most cats don't even know they are wearing them.

Each Soft Paws® kit contains 40 nail caps, 2 tubes of adhesive, applicator tips, and easy-to-follow instructions. One kit contains enough for 4 front paw applications and each application lasts approximately 4 to 6 weeks, which makes each kit lasts approximately 4 to 6 months.
Large Size: (Approximately 14 pounds and up)
Very large-boned and large-breed cats wear large. Maine Coons, for example, are very large cats and generally wear large.
Note: "Large" refers to how big-boned your breed of cat is, not how obese your cat may be. Fat cats have the same size claws as slim cats.

Keeps my cat from scratching my furniture

One of my 2 adult adopted cats scratches my furniture, this solved my problem, and is kind of fun to change the colors!

I have been using soft claws for well over a decade. Each of my six cats have a different color so I can ID the loose one on the floor. Protects my furniture and anyone handling the cat. Most of my cats like them, especially the ones who were introduced to them as kittens, but my former feral male now cooperates when I apply the caps. They last on the cat's claws for three to four weeks and are a superior alternative to expensive and evasive declawing.

Colorful, easily applied, plastic claw covers eliminate furniture damage from scratching. I would prefer a gel adhesive but manage with the thinner glue.

I wasn't convinced this product would stay put, but other than the random one, they stay on really well and at least 4 weeks. They also adhere really quickly which is great.

My cat, Bumble, and I have been living alone together for about 18 months now He was rescued as a new born from a farm combine. So I am the only family he's ever known. He is an only fur-baby. So playtime, it's him against me. I am down on the floor wrestling with him as if I was in his pride. Needless to say, I am also very against declawing, so when I stumbled upon SoftPaws, I was very eager to give them a try - just to save the skin on my hands and forearms! LOL
I am MORE than happy with my purchase! My first set arrived on December 30th and here it is January 13th and they are still on!
I cannot thank you enough, SoftPaws!
Bumble and I play are able to more often and for longer periods. I have literally worn HIM out on occasion!

I really like these Claw Caps for our cat. She has been wearing them ever since we found her abandoned in the park near our house. Even though she scratches her post most of the time every once in a while she attacks some of our rugs. I also like the fact I can play a little rough with her and she can't dig in her "Talons" so no one gets hurt. Thank you for Soft Paws.

This is still the first month that I am using the product, and so far I love it! I was going back and forth about declawing my cat or not (really did not want to). I was not able to move my cat into my new apartment with the new $1300.00 couches my husband had just purchased. My cat LOVES scratching all couches on the side, and was banned until he was declawed. Doing research on the web lead me to Soft Paws. I had a groomer put them on my cat for me after getting his nails clipped. He walked funny for the first day, but after that it was like they were not there at all. He has been living in my new apartment for a few weeks now, and there are no claw marks anywhere. He is just as happy as he was before, and I did not have to subject him to declawing. I am a very happy and satisfied customer and plan on being a consistent customer to Soft paws.

We had reservations about trying this but it's the best 20 bucks we ever spend. Our cat hates getting his nails cut but we had no problems with putting on the soft paws He has no problem with them and were a month in with the same set. I would recommend covering the dew claw because he has used it on the dog.

My furniture thanks you, my arms, tummy and legs thank you (kneading) and my kitty thanks you, he no longer gets in trouble about his claws and how ouchie they are. This will be a permanent product in our home. How did I keep him calm? Kitty treats, he got 2 for each claw and he is not a calm cat. Declawing is cruel and inhumane.
