Product Description

Solve Your Cat Scratching Problems Using Original, Authentic, Soft Paws--Made in the U.S.A.

Developed by a veterinarian, Soft Paws® nail caps are made in the USA using non-toxic vinyl. The nail caps are applied to your cat's claws using a non-toxic, cold-bonding, veterinary-grade adhesive, and are a completely safe and humane solution to cat scratching problems. Soft Paws do not interfere with the normal extension and retraction of claws, and most cats don't even know they are wearing them.

Economical Price
Only $19.95 per package for a 4 to 6 month supply.

Each Soft Paws® kit contains 40 nail caps, 2 tubes of adhesive, applicator tips, and easy-to-follow instructions. One kit contains enough for 4 front paw applications and each application lasts approximately 4 to 6 weeks, which makes each kit lasts approximately 4 to 6 months.

Large Size: (Approximately 14 pounds and up)

Very large-boned and large-breed cats wear large. Maine Coons, for example, are very large cats and generally wear large.

Note: "Large" refers to how big-boned your breed of cat is, not how obese your cat may be. Fat cats have the same size claws as slim cats.

  1. Great for relaxed cats

Posted by Unknown on 3rd Oct 2015

My cat would not be still long enough for me to put these on. I guess I will have to declaw him since the groomer won't do it and my vet wants $70.00 (given these have to be done every 6-8 weeks, that is not an option for me). I was really looking forward to these.
Bottom line: if you have a relaxed cat, great.

  2. I love soft paws

Posted by Chris on 2nd Oct 2015

My large ragdoll is an enthusiastic scratcher. Soft paws saves my furniture from destruction! :) and the colors are beautiful!! We alternate between clear and colors; they all work great.

  3. They Work!

Posted by Unknown on 15th Sep 2015

I have gone back and forth about declawing my cat but just couldn't do it--seems just barbaric! Now that I have figured out how to get them on, they stay on. So well, in fact, that I have had to cut some off. If they fall off, I put another right back on as that usually means the cat is shedding a claw. They work except on loose weaves so those I still cover. Love these.

  4. 5 Star Product

Posted by LL on 11th Sep 2015

No more declawing! It's no longer necessary with SoftPaws. So easy to use. I have been using SoftPaws on my two girls - both indoor Ragdoll cats - since they were both kittens. The girls have gotten so used to having them put on, there is no fuss and the SoftPaws simply fall off as the claws are normally shed. I have used generic versions in the past to save a few dollars, and I can tell you, SoftPaws are far superior in quality and durability. I won't use anything else! By the way, I have read some complaints here about the glue provided - my tip is that you can use any super glue to put the SoftPaws on as long as the tip on the glue fits down into the claw cover (I use Loctite Gel Control Super Glue).

  5. Easy & Pet Friendly

I rave about these to ANY indoor cat owner and will try to persuade them to try Soft Paws in lieu of declawing every time! Soft Paws are not only an affordable alternative to getting cats declawed, but do not inhibit my or my cats lives in any negative ways! My cats were able to keep their claws for all the health benefits and will never have to go through being declawed, but also do not go through any hassle or trauma having the Soft Paws put on! They are so inexpensive, you can't help but see Soft Paws as a logical solution to declawing.

  6. save your furniture

I have used this product for several years, and recommend it to indoor cat owners. It is best to introduce your cat to the nail caps right away so they get used to the handling of their paws and the smell of the glue. I do wish Softpaws would upgrade to a gel glue which is much easier to handle, and lasts longer both in the tube and on the claws.

  7. Soft Paws for Large Cat

Posted by Unknown on 17th Aug 2015

Works well. It is easiest to put on while my cat sleeps. He's okay with them on, but does occasionally try to remove one while grooming. The Soft Paws stay on for a couple of weeks. You may have to replace a missing one occasionally. Front paws work best. Rear Soft Paws come off quicker. Difficult to reuse an opened glue.

  8. My cat doesn't know he's wearing them!

Posted by Unknown on 11th Aug 2015

My cat, Finn, is eight years old and I am just now getting him started on these. I worried he would chew them all off, but it has been a week and he still doesn't know he is wearing them! They are a miracle product and I wish I had tried them years ago. You can see pics of him wearing them on instagram @ponderbird.

  9. no more tears

Posted by Unknown on 21st Jul 2015

my son's cat is a big cat and he loves to snuggle with him but would scratch him up a lot so I decided to buy the soft paws and now I don't have to worry when my son wants to play or snuggle with him

  10. No more scratching

Posted by Unknown on 15th Jul 2015

Soft Paws are great for keeping furniture free from the occasional cat scratching. They stay on for a few weeks and I must admit they are quite fetching.
