Not that impressed

These nails do not stay on my cat for very long. I find myself reapplying two or three every few days that have fallen off. Waste of money and i'm not happy about it.

These are an excellent product. Very easy to apply and helps keep the furniture in great shape and protects our Golden Retriever puppy's eyes.. My cat has been wearing them for about 2 years and is very accustomed to them.

Found A Solution that made everyone happy
Posted by Unknown on 3rd Mar 2015
My cat doesn't scratch excessively, but leaves poke marks on the furniture from jumping on and off. We were about to purchase a new couch and wanted to look into de-clawing the cat. I was HORRIFIED by what I read and found these as a solution. My husband agreed that we should give them a shot. They are perfect. After the first few minutes she completely ignored them. She still heads outside supervised to scratch at her favorite tree and hasn't lost any of her agility (she has a gimpy paw from an incident she had as a stray kitten). Thanks for saving our new couch and our cat a lot of pain. I only marked down because we lost 1 after a week. It was easy to replace and the rest are still on. I also think next time we will pick BOLDER colors.

Good product

I actually bought Soft Claws for my daughter for her ragdoll cat. She said that they work very well. Her cat is not snagging, scratchiing and destroying things like he was. She said that she's replacing them a lot more often than she'd like. Having them fall off from the cat shedding his claws is to be expected, but some just seem to fall off. She noticed them laying around near his scratching post, so she thinks they're coming off when he uses the post. However, she is really pleased with the product. It has saved her apartment and her possessions.

They're grrrrreat

These soft paws have significantly reduced the amount of damage our cats make on our furniture walls and floor. The only complaint we have is that they don't stay on long enough. Part of it is because they shed their claws, but I think the other part is that the glue isn't strong enough. Fortunately, our cats haven't gotten sick from it.

What a wonderful product

I recently adopted a very young kitten and she had very long and very sharp nails. I have always adopted kittens that did not have claws, so this nail problem was very new to me. I did not want to have her declawed, so I tried the soft paw nail caps in order to keep her from scratching me and hurting our other cat that did not have claws. They work fantastic and I have referred many cat owners to your site. It is the answer to destroying furniture and hurting other animals that did not have claws. Thank you for your product...they are fantastic.

Happy Cat

Soft paws was our only answer. Our nine month old tabby kitten was headed for the vet to be declawed. I had heard that declawing was not a good option but he was ruining our new couch with his scratching. Our vet invited Kitty and me to come in and try soft paws. They put them on and he fell asleep while they were applying the caps. When we got home he licked his paws for a few minutes and over the next couple weeks he lost a couple caps while playing with a lace table cover, I quickly replaced them during nap time. He looks so nice with his sparkly silver nails and my couch is saved. I feel so good that I didn't put him through declawing and very happy my vet helped me make that decision.

Who's a pretty kitty?

Softpaws, you have saved our carpet and our cat's dignity! She's tried a few colours, but the recommended Valentine's Day "Heart of Gold" combination is her favourite by far - she's only pulled one off to date, which is a sure sign of her enthusiasm for the glittery gold and pink (or we've become better at putting them on securely...)
Our entire family cannot recommend Softpaws highly enough. International shipping has never been a problem, and compared to the cost of replacing upholstery and carpet they're an absolute steal. Thank you too for the timely and well constructed mailouts: we love the festive suggestions, as its so easy to get the dogs in on the spirit of celebrations, but so hard to get the cat involved. Softpaws allow Kenai to join in with the rest of us in a way that she actually enjoys - and gives her an excuse to Instagram her toes too! -
These saved my dog from my kitten!

I love Soft Paws, I've been using them since I got our cat a year ago. Easy application, lots of great colour choices, protecting our furniture and most importantly, our pug's eyes from his new little brother. Make sure you get the real Soft Paws, the knock offs are junk!

So relieved I found these
Posted by LindaE on 4th Feb 2015
My cat, Alex, was one day away from being declawed. Despite not wanting to put him through that, I was at my wits end, as he was shredding my couch, my bed and even the carpet, pulling it up away from the wall. But as we drew closer to that day, the more nervous I became because I was having doubts about doing it at all. Alex has a history of reacting badly to vaccines, as they make him sick. They have to give him a special shot before the vaccines are administered to prevent the allergic reaction he develops. And because of that reason, I was terrified of having him put under for the declaw surgery, worried he may develop complications that he didn't REALLY need to go through. So in a last-ditch effort, I did some research for alternatives and came across your site. I read the testimonials and watched the video of how to put the nail caps on. Despite being skeptical that something like this would even work, an immediate sense of relief washed over me, that my kitty and I had options. I placed my order and called my vet, cancelling Alex’s appointment.
It was a little bit of a challenge putting them on, but I cradled him in my lap and occasionally distracted him by letting him play with my hoodie strings for a minute, which gave me time to grab another nail cap and add the glue. Then, while he was calm, I’d take his paw, gently push out his nail and quickly slip on the cap. It was a process that took a little time, but it wasn’t quite as tedious as I expected it to be, as Alex isn’t an affectionate cat in the first place, which means he hates being held. So I figured it would turn into disaster. But it went very well and his caps are on! Thanks so much for an awesome product.
