this is the best thing for your inside cat

  2. it's an amazing product

Posted by Ali Maala on 5th Jan 2015

It's an amazing product, it's just a savior for me, I love my cat more than anything in the world but he was very bad cat with sofas , he really destroyed them , and destroyed everything that we use to sit on , and I really spend a lot of money changing the sofas and he destroyed the new one as will, and I have done everything to stop him from doing this but nothing worked, but before two weeks I was searching on the net for ways to stop cats from destroying the furniture and Soft Paws was mentioned in an artikel , and thanks God that I fond this product it's really good and I advice everyone who have a indoor cat to buy it, it's really good , in the first two or three days your cat will hate it a little (just a little bit) and will try to remove it because she/he will think it's something stuck on they're claws, but after it he will be very normal and very harmless to the furniture

  3. Terrific alternative to declawing

Posted by Dan on 31st Dec 2014

SoftClaws are wonderful. I've used them for about 4-5 years now, and they've helped my cats coexist with my furniture. My older cat is accustomed to the SoftPaws, and although he's a bit grumpy during application, he's now used to them. My kitten adjusted quickly. SoftPaws are a great alternative to constant nail trimming or declawing, and they've made a big difference in the longevity of my furniture and rugs.

  4. As Advertised

This product was easy to apply , stays on well and looks nice. A great alternative to declawing.

    They work alright

  6. Half-feral cat

Posted by Eizabeth on 22nd Dec 2014

We found a kitten and you know what...she tamed us and she's in the house. We don't have curtains, per se, but on her jump/runs around the room, she'll accidentally puncture legs when she uses them as jumping platforms or climbing posts.

Being the spaazmoid she is, we decided to have the vet put them on. As soon as she got home, she chewed one of them off. (bad installation?). The rest have stayed on for a few weeks now.

NO MORE UNSIGHTLY SCRATCHES OR SCABS!
NO MORE PAIN-FILLED DAYS OR NIGHTS.

Yep, I'd say they're doing the job.

  7. Realistic and kind solution to clawing problems

Posted by Lindsay on 19th Dec 2014

I think these are a realistic and wonderful product. Brilliant idea. Despite some cons I gave this product 5 stars because I think Soft paws perform as well as expected (or even a little better than expected) in their intended goal.

    Pros:
Were very easy to put on (however my cat accepts and does quite well having her nails cut and feet handled)
Keeps my furniture safe (when all claws are covered)
My cat doesn't seem to mind or really notice them.
Most of them are staying on fairly well (7/10 stay on pretty consistently- which is way better for my furniture than having 10 exposed claws).
Comes with 6 glue applicator tips (very handy and necessary).
    They are pretty.

    Cons:
Just FYI the black color was difficult for me to tell how much glue I was adding to the soft paw. The sparkly gold is more clear and easier for me to add the appropriate amount of glue.

These are new to my cat and she keeps attempting to scratch and sometimes succeeds if one or two of the claw covers has fallen off.

She over all doesn't seem to notice their presence, although I don't know if I used too much glue to got some extra fur caught, but one of her soft paws has fallen off her dewclaw and seems to taken off a lot of nail with it (I'll have to keep an eye on it since she acts like it may be a little tender).

  8. Problem solved

Posted by Hawley on 15th Dec 2014

Ordered on-line from USA to NZ, arrived within a week.. impressed... Vet and I applied easily (and she's not the easiest cat to handle) day 5 and she couldn't care less, no more ripping the garden timber chairs to bits, no more ripping the pergola lattice to shreds.. thank you.. DONE

  9. Soft Paws

Posted by Unknown on 15th Dec 2014

Look much better than generic "Kitty Caps" purchased at PetsMart. Fit is more snug as well. Much preferred over generics!

  10. work well

Posted by Unknown on 12th Dec 2014

Soft Paws have successfully prevented my cat from damaging furniture and inadvertently scratching people. The medium size seems to be smaller than it used to be, however. Sometimes it's too tight to go all the way over my cat's trimmed claw.
